Welcome to the Aspen Chess Club web site. The Aspen Chess Club meets in the Aspen Elementary School
Gym every Thursday after school from late September to Spring Break, except for holidays and
conference weeks (i.e. chess club meets any Thursday that there is a full day of school). Chess club
runs from 3:15 to 4:15 (for younger kids) and until 5:00 for the full session.
This is an all-volunteer organization, and we encourage parent, grand-parent, and experienced
teen helpers. We have more than 40 elementary students in our club, from Aspen Elementary School
and other schools, including home schooled students. We do not limit membership to Aspen
Elementary students only -- any students K-6 are invited. You may
